Rhodiola rosea, also known as rose root, golden root, rose wort, and Arctic root, is a plant native to northern Europe, Scandinavia, Lapland, Russia, northern Canada, and Alaska. We use the dry rootstock, which has the distinct smell of dried rose petals.
